Using CanIEdit safely and fairly

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
Do not attempt to disrupt or circumvent security or rate limits.
Respect third-party rights when processing files you do not own.

Accounts and billing

Keep account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
Paid plans renew on the chosen billing cycle. You may cancel at any time and keep access through the period.
Taxes may apply based on your location. Refunds are handled case-by-case where required by law.

Service levels

We aim for high availability and fast processing. Certain plans include specific SLAs, retention options, or private endpoints as described on the pricing page or in a separate agreement.

Intellectual property

Your files remain yours. We only process them to provide the requested output.
All CanIEdit software, branding, and content remain our property.

Warranties and liability

Services are provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Direct liability, if any, is limited to fees paid in the preceding three months.

Changes

We may update these terms when we release new features or adjust policies. If changes are material, we will notify you via the site or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
